What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg unit with patient ratios typically around 1:6
• Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure proper treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care activities thoroughly
• Follow hospital policies and procedures, including dress code of personal scrubs
• Support patients and families by explaining procedures and answering their questions

What You Need

• Valid Massachusetts RN license
• Prior experience in medical-surgical units preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
• Availability for scheduled interview times (specific dates required)

About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The unit comprises 20-34 beds, depending on unit needs, with a typical patient ratio of 1:6. The position offers a supportive environment with a focus on quality patient care. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable; orientation will be provided.
