Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. This position is essential for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care according to established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the medical team as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Active Compact or AL Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.

Patient Care Standards

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6 to 1, ensuring focused attention and high-quality care for all patients.
