The Division is a center of excellence for health literacy and health equity research, including clinical faculty with expertise in advanced data analytics, decision analysis, quality improvement, and patient safety. Responsibilities: The Academic General Internist will serve as primary caregiver for a panel of adult primary care patients. There are significant opportunities to

teach

medical and other health professional students, to precept internal medicine residents, and to serve as attending physician on the inpatient general medicine or geriatrics services.

Work shift Full time role Requirements: You have a passion for primary care and are are excited to work with a wide range of patients and clinicians to champion world class models of care.

Board Eligibility / Certification in Internal Medicine is required.

Additional training or expertise in geriatrics, LGBTQ+ health or addiction medicine is a plus but not essential.

Current medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is preferred.

Bilingual (Chinese) or multilingual ability is a plus.

Compensation: Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.
