For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants.**### **POSITION SPECIFICS**The Penn State **Office of Student Aid** is seeking a **Financial Aid Coordinator**. The individual in this position is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all Federal, State, and University student aid regulations, policies, and procedures and contributing to the analysis of these regulations.The work of this position impacts Penn State’s approval to participate in Federal and State Student Aid programs which comprise the majority of the $1.2B in student aid funding at the University. This individual is responsible for processing and troubleshooting issues of federal, state, and university aid programs to include grants, scholarships, work-study, and federal and alternative loan programs. The position involves reviewing and monitoring reports to adjust or correct federal, state, and institutional aid, and communicating with federal and state agencies. This role touches multiple programs, processes, policies, and regulations needed in the effective administration of Student Aid. This position will report to the Director of Federal and State Programs within the Office of Student Aid.The successful applicant will develop and maintain expertise in federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. They will also need to establish and maintain strong working relationships with, and functional knowledge of other University administrative units, such as the Office of the Bursar, Office of the Registrar, and Student Financial Services to resolve issues that impact the administration and delivery of student aid.
