Position Details PRN Day Schedule (work as needed): Hours of Operation - Mon-Fri (7am-5pm) Work at minimum 2 - four hour shifts per month (welcome to work more & during Spring/Summer break) Radiologic / Radiology Technologist Outpatient 2nd Year Radiology Student (preferred) Requirements High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education Currently enrolled in a Radiology School Program Experience Radiology Students No prior experience necessary —training provided! Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Under the supervision of a registered technologist performs imaging procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Must be currently enrolled in an imaging program.Illinois: Following IEMA guidelines as it pertains to administering radiation/making exposures. Responsibilities Assists the technologist with imaging procedures. Students require direct supervision in surgery. Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed. Assists outpatients with completing information necessary to the procedure.
