Key Responsibilities\n \n Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients to encourage open communication and deeper engagement in the treatment process. \n Diagnose and address a range of mental health conditions through comprehensive assessments and evaluations. \n Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and preferences of each client, adjusting them as necessary based on progress and feedback. \n Lead therapy sessions, both individually and with couples, focusing on effective communication, conflict resolution, and emotional support. \n Regularly monitor and assess client progress, making clinical adjustments to treatment approaches based on outcomes. \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive holistic care, referring them to other specialists when required. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your work as an LMFT will involve collaborating with a richly diverse clientele, addressing various issues such as relationship conflicts, familial tensions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. The clients you serve will range from individuals seeking personal therapy to couples navigating relationship challenges. Your expertise will guide clients in understanding their emotions and behaviors, equipping them with tools to improve their mental health and interpersonal relationships. Qualifications\n \n A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois. \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling or related fields. \n Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. \n A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling environment is preferable. \n Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. \n Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with an aptitude for teamwork and collaboration. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
