Position Description: Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager – CPA/EA

Our firm continues to expand and we are currently seeking motivated Tax Managers and Tax Senior Managers to join our team. You will be an instrumental member of our tax team, working with clients across a broad and diverse range of industries. Our ideal candidate is an independent problem-solver who enjoys working closely with clients and coming up with creative solutions for our clients’ tax and business needs.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complex tax engagements for high-net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.

- Manage billing responsibilities for managed engagements.

- Serve as a primary client contact, delivering strategic tax planning and compliance solutions.

- Provide support for managing partner transitioning well-established book of business prior to his exit.

- Research technical tax issues.

- Assist or lead in development of tax staff and seniors, including being a formal mentor.

- Participate in firm leadership, collaborating with partners on client management, strategic planning, and business development initiatives.

Job Highlights:

- Competitive compensation with base salary ranging from $135,000 - $225,000, dependent upon experience.

- Semiannual discretionary bonuses and quarterly commissions for new clients acquired by you for the firm.

Required Experience and Skills:

- CPA or EA designation.

- 6-8+ years experience in public accounting.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Desire to further build a growing small practice and its team.
