DBL Law is seeking a Banking/Transactional Associate Attorney to add to their Covington, KY, or Cincinnati, OH office.  This position will perform associate-level legal work for the Banking/Transactional practice group, as well as occasionally support the Corporate and Real Estate practice areas as needed. The associate will work with supervising attorneys to represent clients in a variety of matters.  The position offers a competitive salary and benefits, and a collegial work environment. Duties and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

JOB DUTIES

• Negotiate, draft, review, and revise various contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on various banking, real estate, and corporate matters to clients.
• Complete due diligence related to banking, corporate, and real estate transactions.
• Assess risk and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Conduct research on current and emerging legal issues in the Banking/Transactional, Corporate, and Real Estate Practice areas.
• Offer legal advice on matters regarding fiscal responsibilities and transactions.
• Offer legal counsel on general compliance matters.
• Work out issues that arise from projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• 1-4 years of experience.
• Demonstrated drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A high level of organizational skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
