Territory Senior Sales Representative, Beef Monitoring - Upper Midwest - NE & IA

Merck Animal Health seeks a Senior Territory Sales Representative to drive beef cattle product sales across Nebraska and Iowa. The role involves managing territory-based customer relationships, promoting monitoring solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to execute regional sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Represent Animal Health product portfolio within assigned beef market segments across geographic territory
- Identify and engage segment customers for Sense Hub monitoring adoption with technical support
- Develop account-specific business plans and coordinate with regional management and distribution partners
- Collaborate with Technical Service and Customer Success teams to create customized sales value propositions
- Monitor sales performance monthly and manage expenses within established budget parameters
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred
- Five years relevant sales, livestock, or animal health experience with bachelor's degree; or ten years without degree
- Minimum two years animal health sales experience in beef markets
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated account management, organizational, and business planning skills
- Ability to travel overnight minimum 50% depending on geography
- Willingness to reside within or within 20 miles of assigned territory
