Overview: This full-time RN position offers the opportunity to work closely with a student requiring personalized care, including g-tube feeding, trach care, and breathing treatments. You will be an essential part of a collaborative staff committed to fostering independence and growth for students with diverse abilities. Located in Phoenix, AZ, this role runs from now through May 2027, providing a rewarding, meaningful career experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accompany and support a medically fragile student on bus rides from home to school and at school, providing care and assistance as needed
• Administer treatments such as trach care, breathing treatments, and monitor student health
• Ensure the student’s safety and well-being throughout the school day
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to create a supportive care plan
• Maintain accurate documentation of health-related activities and interventions

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Valid CPR/BLS certification and FPCC
• Healthcare provider Hep B vaccination
• Covid vaccine
• Ability to pass drug screening and physical exam before start date

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working with medically fragile children or in special education settings
• Comfort with trach care and feeding tube management

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Fridays are 2 hours shorter)
