Working in a team of infrastructure specialists and engineers, supports and maintains infrastructure solutions and services as directed and according to departmental policy; ensures services are delivered and used as required; work with and support third parties to provide infrastructure services.Typical skills: Build, configure, administer and support infrastructure technologies and solutions such as: computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, COTS and open source packages and solutions, and virtual and cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Discuss the central principles of modern standards approach. Investigate problems in systems, processes and services, with an understanding of the level of a problem. Know how to produce detailed designs and document all work using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate. Build and test simple interfaces between systems or can work on more complex integration as part of a wider team. Test scripts under supervision.
