Shifts: Overnights (full-time) and Weekdays (may include Saturdays & Sundays)

Job duties are:

· Inform and enforce UGMSF policies and procedures with all Clients, visitors, and staff.

· Patrol and secure facility buildings and grounds as assigned. Monitor conduct of visitors on-premises and confront unauthorized persons for questioning.

· Check-in clients and report safety issues, fire hazards, or security violations.

· Respond to all requests for assistance from employees, guests, and visitors.

· Assist with any and all situations; i.e., problem-solving with positive outcomes.

· Escort personnel to and from parking areas as requested.

· Maintain records and prepare incident reports and other documents pertinent to security activities.

· Ability to work with all age groups. Must be able to prioritize calls for service in order of urgency based on safety needs.

UGMSF Staff are expected to work in highly stressful situations in which they are to de-escalate the situation as quickly as possible.
