Don't wait; apply today! Job Duties: Install, route, secure, label, and organize Ethernet/network cabling throughout the facility. Run network cable through offices, production areas, warehouses, ceilings, equipment areas, and other appropriate locations. Terminate Ethernet cables using RJ45 connectors, patch panels, keystone jacks, and related hardware. Test and troubleshoot Ethernet cabling and network connectivity. Diagnose basic network connectivity and equipment issues. Assist with installation, replacement, relocation, and basic configuration of computers, network equipment, cameras, wireless equipment, and other IT hardware. Assist the Senior System Administrator with network infrastructure projects and facility-wide IT deployments. Troubleshoot IT equipment and network connections in production and non-production areas. Work around production machinery and other industrial equipment while following applicable safety procedures. Maintain accurate cable labeling, equipment records, and documentation. Keep IT work areas, cabling, and equipment organized and properly maintained. Assist with equipment moves, installations, upgrades, and other technical projects. Learn and follow company IT procedures, safety requirements, and technical standards. Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the Senior System Administrator.
Qualifications No prior professional IT experience required. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly. Logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting problems. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to take ownership of assigned tasks. Ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions. Ability to work independently after receiving appropriate training and direction. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and end users. Willingness to work in a hands-on industrial/production environment. Willingness and ability to perform the physical and environmental requirements of the position.
