Sea el secretario de unidad que siempre quiso ser Mantenga expedientes médicos completos y precisos de todos los pacientes utilizando un sistemade etiquetado apropiado. Transcriba órdenes médicas de manera precisa y eficiente; entregue copias a otras disciplinas según sea necesario. Actúe como un recurso útil para pacientes, familias, médicos y visitantes en la estaciónde enfermería. Coordine las operaciones de la unidad para optimizar la prestación segura de la atenciónal paciente. Programe pruebas, citas y transporte según sea necesario de manera oportuna. Actúe como enlace para las consultas, dirigiéndolas a la persona adecuada para su resolución. Cualificaciones Se prefiere que cuente con certificación en Resucitación Cardiopulmonar (RCP). Se prefiere un año de experiencia como secretario de la unidad de pacientes hospitalizados. Se prefiere inscripción activa en un programa de atención médica (como enfermería), familiaridad con la terminología médica y experiencia en la lectura y transcripción de órdenes médicas.
