What will you do as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Provide safe, compassionate, and resident-centered nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or provider.
- Perform focused nursing assessments and document resident care accurately.
- Assist with wound care, vital signs, treatments, and other nursing procedures within LVN scope of practice.
- Participate in implementing and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, RNs, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license or eligibility to practice in Texas.
- Graduate of an approved vocational nursing program.
- Current CPR certification preferred/required according to facility policy.
- Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Reliable attendance and professional attitude.
- Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
