Patient ratio 2:1. Assignment duration of 91 days. Highlights: Four positions available in a 24-bed Coronary Care Unit with a daily census of 20 patients First-time travelers welcome with a supportive orientation process Work with a mix of cardiac surgical and cardiac medical patients, with occasional adult medical ICU overflow Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services Opportunity to expand skills with potential float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU as needed Scrub color: Navy Requirements: Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of CVICU or critical care nursing experience Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Proficiency in critical care skills including arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV insulin protocols, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with CVVHD/CRRT, Impella, procedural sedation, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction preferred Must reside outside 75-mile radius from the facility Why Join Us?
