Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Service Line Specialist Fulltime Days

Job Title Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Service Line Specialist Location & Work Hours Work location: Texas Health Southwest, Fort Worth. Work hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Day shift, Call and some holidays required. Responsibilities Serve as OR circulating nurse, collaborating with anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgical technologist, etc., ensuring patient safety during the operation. Act as a clinical liaison to staff, surgeons, and vendors; promote engagement through open communication, organize face‑to‑face meetings, communicate products and services, and complete special projects and events. Participate in training, orientation, and mentoring of staff; facilitate education on service line clinical, administrative, legal, and financial requirements. Maintain par levels of special equipment and manage supply orders specific to the service line. Ensure accurate and timely charges are integrated into service line surgeon preference cards. Coordinate capital and non‑capital budget needs with the clinical manager for the service line. Attend and participate in clinical facilitator meetings. Qualifications RN license required upon hire. BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) prior to providing independent patient care, maintained quarterly. Minimum 2 years OR experience; 2 years spine surgery experience preferred. 1 year perioperative services and circulating and/or scrubbing experience required; 1 year OR specialty experience based on service line needs preferred.
