- Performing thorough patient evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care pathways
- Addressing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (pending credentials)
- Providing education for patients and their families related to prevention, wellness, and disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your professional scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
- Working in tandem with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, well-rounded care
- Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an appropriate specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment paired with a nurturing approach
- Outstanding communication skills with diverse patient populations and fellow healthcare professionals
