Overview The role involves stocking and customer service in the freezer, cooler, and deli areas. In the deli, you will be on the front lines of customer service, helping ensure a positive shopping experience. You will contribute to the operations and sanitary conditions required to keep products ready for our members. What you'll do Maintaining safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conducting safety sweeps; handling hazardous materials according to policy; reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintaining the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns; stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; completing required audits and documentation; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Providing Member service by acknowledging the Member and identifying their needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; providing Deli products to Members; resolving issues and promoting products and services. Following company policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling policies; operating, repairing, sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures; cleaning the area; monitoring fans, drains, and doors; reporting issues to management. Responsibilities and standards Ensuring high-quality products are available and accessible for members; maintaining temperature control and disposing of lesser-quality products. Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays; maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. Adhering to safety and company procedures in daily operations. Compensation and benefits Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
