Technical Assistant Construction Office (TACO)

General Description and Position Requirements: The Township of Woolwich is seeking a Part‑Time Technical Assistant – Construction Office (TACO) to provide administrative and operational support to the Construction Official and Subcode Officials in accordance with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (NJ UCC). Hourly range $19.00 to $27.00 - commensurate with experience ***Position is open until filled*** Official Job Description: Duties include assisting the public with permit applications and inquiries, performing daily administrative functions, and coordinating with the Zoning Department and other Township offices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with SDL, Municipal systems is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities. Education and Experience: This position requires a NJ DCA Certified Technical Assistant License and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
