Experience an enriching opportunity supporting students as a school psychologist in a dynamic K-12 environment. This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact, with flexibility for those seeking part-time options (3-4 days per week onsite). You'll work within a single school building, allowing you to build strong, ongoing relationships with both staff and students.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Tier III license or demonstrated Tier III experience is essential
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or similar field required for licensure)
- Open to new graduates eager to gain hands-on practice in a supportive setting
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of students, including those with autism, learning disabilities, speech and language challenges, and deaf or hard of hearing learners
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing for approximately 50 students and perform up to 10 initial evaluations, ensuring timely and accurate assessments
- Deliver counseling services to around 10 students, drawing on evidence-based approaches for social, emotional, and behavioral support
- Collaborate with educators, intervention teams, and families to design and monitor effective strategies
- Address intervention and counseling needs based on individual student profiles and IEP goals
- Document and report assessment outcomes with clarity and professionalism
