About the Role:
Helping Hands Home Healthcare Agency in Bellefontaine, OH is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Healthcare Aide to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
• Monitor and document patient health status, reporting any changes to supervising staff
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Support patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Transport or accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
• Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Prior experience as a home health aide, CNA, or caregiver is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with patient mobility
