MED/SURG Night Nurse – Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients with various acuities across the age spectrum on a Medical/Surgical unit
• Evaluate and apply the nursing process, documenting all findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Direct and coordinate patient care activities throughout the shift
• Collaborate with ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive, team-based patient care
• Communicate effectively with providers and co-workers regarding changes in patient conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Montana
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shift hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients across a broad acuity range and age spectrum
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary care teams
