In this role, you'll keep raw and processed material inventory running smoothly — from receiving and storing incoming material to preparing pipe and product samples for the technical staff. You'll work closely with our engineers and lab technicians to keep the lab organized, efficient, and safe. This is an opportunity to build hands-on skills across material handling, inventory systems, and lab operations in a fast-paced R&D environment.What You'll Build & OwnPerform inventory control of lab raw materials, including daily tracking of incoming and outgoing boxes in the digital inventory database and coordinating with the logistics team on offsite storage.Organize pipe stock inventory and help maintain minimum stocking levels through the inventory system.Recycle unwanted materials and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with Lean initiatives.Operate the lab's material handling equipment to move, inventory, store, and maintain all incoming and outgoing material daily.Maintain material handling equipment, including routine cleaning of forklifts and other lab equipment as assigned.Log and estimate hours using Liquid Planner (LP), using it as a primary communication tool.Follow all company safety requirements and procedures.As needed: prepare pipe for assembly using plasma cutting equipment, cut-off saws, drill presses, and belt sanders; set up, operate, clean, and maintain Victaulic grooving tools; prepare batches of product samples (including painting and assembly); and maintain accurate records and logs.What You BringHigh school diploma required; Associate and/or technical degree preferred.Mechanical aptitude and strong organizational skills.Proficiency with computers, including applicable inventory software.Ability to assist across all laboratory functions and follow verbal and written instructions.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.What Sets You ApartProficiency in blueprint reading and shop math.Experience with precision measurement instruments, such as calipers and diameter measuring tapes.What We OfferBuild A Better CareerCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from withinTuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunitiesBuild A Better FutureComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchCompany-paid short-term disability and life insuranceBuild A Better YouPaid time off and paid holidaysCompany-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Adoption assistance and an inclusive, team-oriented cultureBuild A Better WorldJoin a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.Immigration SponsorshipVictaulic does not provide immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, or other work visa sponsorship) for this position.
