CoWorx is seeking 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Machinists in the Farmington, CT area! Competitive Pay Up to $33+/hr (flexible for top talent) Full-Time | 2 Openings This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for machining complex, high-tolerance components that support industries such as aerospace, defense, and semiconductors. If you're a highly skilled machinist looking to work on complex prototype parts and make an impact in advanced industries, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components
• Run and maintain advanced multi-axis machining equipment (5-axis+)
• Execute rapid prototyping jobs with quick turnaround times
• Work closely with Engineering, R&D, QC, and Project teams
• Provide feedback on manufacturability and scalability for production
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measurement tools
• Manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience in high-precision environments
• 5-axis milling experience
• Twin-spindle turning experience
• Conventional machining (Bridgeport-style mills, etc.) experience
• Strong experience in tight-tolerance machining
• Background in aerospace, defense, or semiconductor industries preferred
• Experience with CNC programming (CAM software)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with EDM (Wire or Sinker) A PLUS
• CNC programming certifications or advanced technical training A PLUS
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems A PLUS
