Description POSITION: Substitute Transporter LOCATION OF WORK: Multiple routes available, throughout Charlevoix and Emmet County CERTIFICATION: Meet State requirements for licensing, physical exam required (including diabetes questionnaire if applicable), approved driving record of less than 7 points QUALIFICATIONS: • Capable of lifting adaptive equipment (25-35 lbs) • Meet the requirements of MI. Essential Ins. Act. For standard automobile insurance • Demonstrate responsibility, dependability, efficiency, and the ability to work with others • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of handheld tablet • Demonstrate the ability to keep all information regarding a student and family confidential • Attend two in-service sessions per master agreement REPORTS TO: Transportation Coordinator DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT: Monday thru Friday HOURS OF WORK: Approximately 5-6 hours per day Monday thru Friday SALARY/FRINGES: Hourly
