Part-Time Staff Accountant

About the Organization: Founded over 40 years ago, they expanded their programming in the past five years to reflect the community changes since the pandemic They support a large population of people in North Central Massachusetts with a variety of programs Great longevity on the team–many employees have 15+ years in their tenure Responsibilities of the Part-Time Staff Accountant: Assist with month-end close process including: Entering accounting information to QuickBooks Online Performing bank reconciliations Creating journal entries Process accounts payable Prepare invoicing for grants Gather information internally and externally for grants compliance Background Expected of the Part-Time Staff Accountant: 2+ years in a staff accountant role or higher Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR experience equivalent Experience in nonprofit organizations and with QuickBooks Online are both preferred Ability to work a part-time, hybrid schedule of 30 hours/week Hourly rate, depending on experience: $30/hr – 45/hr #J-18808-Ljbffr
