Van Driver - Part Time

Job Title Van Driver - Part Time Reports To Transportation Supervisor FLSA Status Non-Exempt Summary Drives minibus, van, or lightweight truck to transport clients, trainees, or company personnel by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drives vehicle from individual or central loading area to social services or rehabilitation center, training location, job site, or other destination according to assigned schedule. Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers. Competency Provide customer service Manages difficult or emotional situations Responds promptly to student needs Solicits feedback to improve service Interpersonal - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming. Oral Communications - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification. Requirements & Experience Complete an Applitrack online application in its entirety. Successfully pass a van certification test. Experience is not necessary, but is beneficial.
