Social Worker

Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Nuestro Mundo Community School is seeking a compassionate and proactive School Social Worker to support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of our students. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing counseling and intervention services and will be comfortable responding to behavior calls and supporting staff in managing challenging situations. Responsibilities Providing individual and small‑group social‑emotional support to students Responding to behavior calls and assisting with de‑escalation and student support Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well‑being Assisting in the development and implementation of behavior support plans Connecting families with community resources and services Supporting a positive and inclusive school climate Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field School social work license or eligibility preferred Experience working with children in a school setting Strong behavior management and de‑escalation skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Job Requirements Master degree preferred.
