Medical Assistant

Trident Pain Center, a leader in pain management therapies, is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our mission to deliver individualized, effective pain management solutions to ensure our patients enjoy a better quality of life. This position entails assisting healthcare professionals in the treatment of patients with various types of pain, administering medications, managing patient data, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Ideal candidates should be compassionate, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. Administer injections or medications as directed by the physician in accordance with healthcare regulations. Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up visits to ensure treatment continuity. Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Maintain and update patient records accurately to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist with the implementation of patient pain management plans curated by healthcare professionals. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software Strong understanding of clinical procedures and safety standards Ability to operate or learn how to operate medical equipment Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) #J-18808-Ljbffr
