Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float Pool) – Days

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Three 12-hour shifts per week | Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Float between multiple facilities within the health system as assigned, adapting to varying patient populations and unit needs
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing
• Willingness and ability to float between multiple facilities within the health system
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6:1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool or multi-facility environment
