The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for guests at our hospitality establishment. Working within a small team of 2-5 employees, this role involves managing guest arrivals and departures, handling reservations, and providing essential information and assistance. The position follows split shifts and demands a proactive approach to customer service, including complaint resolution and coordination with housekeeping to maintain an efficient front desk operation.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes
- Handle reservation management and updates
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Perform cash handling activities accurately
- Assist guests with information and local recommendations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
- Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and special requests
- Manage room keys and ensure security protocols
- Keep accurate records of daily front desk activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in hospitality or customer service
- Familiarity with reservation systems
- Strong customer service orientation
