The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for guests at our hospitality establishment. Working within a small team of 2-5 employees, this role involves managing guest arrivals and departures, handling reservations, and providing essential information and assistance. The position follows split shifts and demands a proactive approach to customer service, including complaint resolution and coordination with housekeeping to maintain an efficient front desk operation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes
  • Handle reservation management and updates
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Perform cash handling activities accurately
  • Assist guests with information and local recommendations
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
  • Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and special requests
  • Manage room keys and ensure security protocols
  • Keep accurate records of daily front desk activities

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Familiarity with reservation systems
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Conflict resolution capabilities
  • Experience in cash handling

  • Ability to work well within a team
