Quality Inspector
A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for checking parts for quality and packaging of parts in the stationary assembly area. Work hours are first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Check first and last piece, as well as, frequency checks during production
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections
- Become familiar with quality requirements of all components in stationary assembly area and understand the concepts of ISO quality systems
- Inspect and set specialty switches
- Label all packaging for stationary production machines
- Pack and inspect parts in stationary assembly department
- Notify operators, set up person, and or management when quality issues arise
- Update production schedule upon job completion
- Provide assistance if necessary in other aspects of stationary assembly or offline inspection
