Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.We are CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and our Stroke Rehabilitation Specialty Program.A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who excels in this role:Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.Perform other related duties as assigned.Applicants should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a healthcare environment. Additional requirements include:Completion of a nursing assistant training course.Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.CPR/BCLS certification required.Schedule: Full-time Night ShiftWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
