Pay: $30 - $40.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial door systems throughout the Twin Cities area. This role involves installing metal doors, performing MIG wire-feed welding on steel door frames and hinges, troubleshooting existing systems, and upgrading customer facilities.

The ideal candidate has experience with commercial door installation, welding, and field service work and enjoys working directly with customers in a variety of environments.

You'll travel to multiple job sites each day, including schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants, performing installations, repairs, and system upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Install commercial metal doors and hollow metal door frames

• Perform MIG wire feed welding on steel door frames and hinges

• Upgrade existing door systems and install new equipment

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial door systems

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Diagnose field issues and provide effective solutions

• Complete service calls at multiple customer locations daily

• Work with low-voltage door components and related systems as needed

• Provide professional customer service while representing the organization

• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle

• Document completed work and communicate job status clearly

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Overtime available as needed

• Average 40-45 hours per week
