Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and/or Professional Certificate in work related field.
- Proficient knowledge and application of word processing.
- Skilled in interpersonal oral and written communications.
- Ability to learn database, spreadsheet, and accounting software to reconcile and track accounts payable/receivable assignments and other accounts bookkeeping activities.
- Willingness to learn standard accounting procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and accounting software to reconcile and track accounts payable/receivable assignments and other accounts bookkeeping activities.
- Knowledge of state procurement regulations and/or experience working with purchasing at a government level.
- Associate and or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, education, business administration, actuarial science, statistics, mathematics
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of standard accounting procedures.
