In this hybrid role (Metairie or Baton Rouge, LA), you'll play a key role in managing and optimizing financial operations, contributing to a sustainable future. Responsibilities:
- Oversee billings, including setup, preparation, and adjustments.
- Manage change orders and analyze related data.
- Reconcile accounts receivable monthly and analyze aging reports.
- Prepare general ledger entries and assist with monthly close procedures.
- Recommend and implement accounting control improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-5 years of experience in medium/large companies or public accounting (Big 4 experience a plus).
- Experience with AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and ASC 606 (preferred).
- CPA license or actively pursuing one (preferred).
- Experience with enterprise ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JDE) (preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal).
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior construction or contracting experience.
