SAP MM/P2P Functional ConsultantThe Functional Consultant will work with solutions leads and business clients to design and implement the solutions using standard SAP as well as other systems interfaced with SAP to support the business process.Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)Work on Break-Fix and Enhancement RequestsWork on Rollouts and ImplementationsUnderstand business requirements, create solution briefs and articulate the end to end process designConduct workshops and draw comparisons with industry best practicesPrepare Functional Specification, Blueprinting, Test scripts (Unit and Integration)Performing Unit Testing (Configuration, Custom Development, etc) in Development and Staging environments, including Regression TestingCoordination with project team stakeholders, business and SAP functional/technical resourcesSuggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions Skill Requirements:Strong understanding business processes and requirements and leading thoughtful design discussions around meeting business needs in a standard manner fully leveraging SAP capabilities.Performing unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc) in development and staging environments, including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted by change.Minimum 3 full implementation cycle experience in implementing SAP MM P2P solutions (Ariba)Strong ability to lead discussions with the business to analyze, configure, and model processes in SAPProvides functional expertise during business blueprinting and should able to lead team and provide guidance/recommendation on the SAP MM solutions.Sound understanding of SAP Materials Management Purchasing best practices, scenarios and business processesPreferably have Experience of working on SAP ECC 6.0 Hands on experience on:Master data o Direct and Indirect Procurement.Material Planning o PO/PR - Release strategy Approval processesRFQ/Quotation and Contract Management o Purchasing Information SystemExternal Service Procurement ProcessesVendor evaluationData migration/LSMW for Data Conversion/Cutover ActivitiesGood Communication and Consulting SkillsLocation:Lancaster, PA, USPosting Date:Department: -
