Surgical Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy & Patient Care

The Medical Assistant at VHC Health in Arlington, VA supports the clinical team by keeping the patient area clean, stocked and ready for procedures. Duties include phlebotomy, specimen preparation, vital signs, patient flow management, and assisting with billing and EMR documentation. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a medical assisting degree is preferred. BLS certification is required and MA/EMT credentials are a plus.
