Qualifications and Experience Our positions require employees to work every other weekend and there is a competitive shift differential for the evening, night, and weekend shifts. High School Degree or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred 3–5 years experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required College student who has obtained or is pursuing a degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Impeccable judgment & professionalism Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation Job Responsibilities The Mental Health Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring the milieu on each of the units is engaging with and to the patients. He/she is responsible for accomplishing department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating unit milieu. The MHA Manager also acts as a Human Rights Officer (HRO).
