As an Activity Aide , you will help create meaningful experiences for our residents while gaining valuable healthcare experience. This position also provides the opportunity to complete a FREE CNA training program through Monmouth Vocational School , helping you take the next step toward a rewarding career in healthcare.

Activity Aide Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled activity programs and assist residents as needed

• Monitor resident behavior during activities and events and communicate concerns to the nursing team as needed

• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars

• Assist with preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility

• Use computer systems to assist with activity-related responsibilities

• Support a positive, engaging, and welcoming environment for residents

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Activities and Administrator

Activity Aide Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous long-term care experience preferred, but not required

• Computer knowledge

• Compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with seniors

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to complete the CNA training program through Monmouth Vocational School
