COLD FOOD (SALAD) (FULL TIME)

Job Summary We are hiring full‑time cold food (salad) positions at Henry Ford Providence, Novi, MI. Address: 47601 Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48374. Schedule: Full time, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, days may vary. Compensation: $15.00 per hour. Requirement: Previous kitchen experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef. Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads according to approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following merchandising guidelines. Transport pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from the workstation, stove, and refrigerator. Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures. Clean, sanitize, and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units, and floors in the preparation and serving areas. Place meat, cheese, or vegetables on cutting board and cut slices to designated thickness. Position and clamp items on the slicing machine carriage, adjust thickness settings, and operate the motor to produce required cuts. Collaborate with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory control, and cash control procedures. Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
