A well-respected Kansas City construction company is looking for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to add to their team and play an instrumental, hands-on role supporting Project Managers in day-to-day operations.

The Senior Project Coordinator will handle a variety of tasks that include:

• Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and daily workflow to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Partner with the estimating team by assisting with bid preparation, quantity takeoffs, and preconstruction activities.
• Monitor project budgets through cost tracking and reporting
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and project documentation while updating specifications as revisions are made.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials to support uninterrupted project progress.
• Manage subcontractor documentation, contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized project records, contracts, change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, billing packages, and supporting documentation for clients and internal leadership.
• Serve as a point of communication between clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure information is shared accurately
• Support project managers with administrative and coordination tasks

Experience & Skills Required:

• Experience coordinating construction or commercial projects from planning through completion.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, documentation, estimating support, and cost tracking.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
