Production Assistant Intern - Student Employment

Production assistants are valuable assets to a production team assisting in a variety of tasks related to content creation including pre‑production, camera, lighting, sound, editing, post‑production, and delivery. The Production Assistant Intern works directly with Production Services staff to assist in the creation of multimedia content for marketing. This student employment opportunity supports the development of skills aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies . Technology: Students build technology skills by using department systems, software, digital tools, equipment, or university platforms to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Must be a student at Saint Xavier University Must be Federal Work Study Eligible Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter Assist in preparing and setting up equipment for shoots Operate production equipment when assigned Aid in monitoring shoot schedules and shot lists Transfer and log files Archive files at the completion of projects Help maintain and organize equipment Other production duties as assigned Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently. Able to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems in a range of production environments and communicate the problem and suggest a resolution. Passion for photo/video content creation. A basic understanding of production concepts and software is preferred, but not required. Must be able to communicate professionally.
