Production Set-Up Technician

Chaska, MN Order: 415649 Order Type : Midwest Semi Skilled Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Production Set-Up Technician to support production by performing efficient changeovers and equipment setups. This Temp-to-hire role is critical to ensuring production lines run smoothly and meet product specifications. Schedule 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00AM Overtime may be required Duties Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment (fillers, cappers, conveyors, labelers, etc.) Perform line changeovers quickly and accurately to meet production demands Clean, sanitize, inspect, and stage parts and equipment Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation procedures Assist with light maintenance and equipment readiness Communicate with production teams to ensure smooth transitions between runs Maintain a clean and organized work environment Experience 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (packaging lines preferred) 1-2 years of machine setup or maintenance experience preferred Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Basic knowledge of PLCs is a plus Ability to use hand tools and read basic measurements Good communication and attention to detail Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly Work in a fast-paced, sometimes hot or wet environment Don't wait, apply today!
