About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery at St. Vincent’s Medical Center provides direct nursing care and coordinates patient care plans in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for nurses with labor and delivery experience who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Highlights Location : Bridgeport, CT Facility : St. Vincent’s Medical Center Schedule : Full Time, Night shift What You'll Do Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with healthcare team members. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to assess patients' needs. Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel. Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds. Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care. Participate in activities for professional growth and development. Other duties as assigned.
