Consumer Loan Processor (Contract - through September)

PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor for a contract role running through the end of September. This is a fully onsite position in the South St. Louis area.

Overview

This role supports the accurate and timely processing, closing, and disbursement of consumer loans through both direct and indirect channels. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands lending compliance, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Identify and escalate fraud or compliance concerns
• Manage loan closing, funding, and documentation across multiple systems
• Prepare and distribute loan documents via DocuSign
• Process loan disbursements and maintain accurate records
• Complete OFAC checks and assist with new account setup as needed
• Upload and maintain loan files per record retention guidelines
• Communicate with internal teams and dealer partners to resolve loan issues
• Support general administrative lending tasks and member service needs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consumer loan processing experience
• Strong knowledge of lending compliance (BSA, Fair Lending, Patriot Act, OFAC)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan processing systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
