CNC Machinist - Weekend Shift

You'll work on precision machining projects using lathes, mills, horizontal mills, and VTLs, with a unique weekend schedule built for work-life balance and top-tier earnings potential based on experience. What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, horizontal mills, portable equipment, VTLs) Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations and tolerances Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using precision tools Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality Work on complete assemblies and repairs, ensuring proper fit and function Collaborate with engineers and production teams to solve machining challenges What We're Looking For Required 1-3 years of machining experience Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, setup, and machining principles Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical demands of machining work Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Flexibility to work overtime when needed Preferred (Not Required) Journeyman Machinist certification Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay Range: $24.00 – $41.00/hr (DOE), with pay progressing by skill level: Machinist 1: $24.00 - $29.00/hr Machinist 2: $28.00 - $32.00/hr Machinist 3: $31.00 - $36.00/hr Machinist 4: $35.00 - $41.00/hr Shift Differential: +$5.33/hr for weekend shift Benefits (Start Day One): Health, dental, and vision insurance – no waiting period 401(k) with company match Paid time off and nine paid holidays, plus parental leave Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage Option to bank holiday hours for extra PTO instead of holiday pay Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with 4 scheduled days off every week.
