Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-service-focused HVAC Distributor Driver to join our team. This position involves delivering HVAC products to customers, operating various types of vehicles (CDL and non-CDL), and supporting warehouse functions, including loading and unloading products. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery & Transportation: Safely and efficiently deliver HVAC products to customer locations using both CDL and non-CDL vehicles, adhering to DOT regulations.
• Routes: Safely drive local Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Western Slope routes. Will be required to drive to other branch locations in the Metro Denver Area as well as Northern Colorado
• Loading & Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of HVAC products, ensuring all items are properly secured for transport.
• Product Handling: Lift up to 50 lbs of HVAC equipment and materials during loading, delivery, and unloading.
• Forklift Operation: Utilize a forklift to move and organize HVAC products in the warehouse, ensuring efficient product storage and retrieval.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring accuracy and professionalism when interacting with customers at delivery sites.
• Warehouse Support: Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and organizing products as needed to maintain smooth operations.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols, ensuring vehicle maintenance, timely reporting, and adherence to all driving and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• CDL Driver Requirements: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a current DOT medical certification if operating vehicles requiring CDL.
  • Compliance with all DOT regulations for driving hours, vehicle inspection, and reporting.
• Non-CDL Driver Requirements: Valid driver’s license for non-CDL vehicles, with the ability to safely operate delivery trucks.
• Forklift Certification: Previous forklift experience is required.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills and a focus on providing exceptional service to customers.
• Work Hours: Flexible work hours; ability to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in HVAC distribution or a similar field.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of local routes and areas.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the day.
• Must be able to operate vehicles and heavy machinery as needed.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse with fluctuating temperatures.
• Outdoor delivery environment.
