Position Overview

Seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant to support the design, implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP Controlling (CO) solutions. The role requires strong functional expertise across core CO processes, SAP S/4HANA Finance, business process integration, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP CO functional solutions.
• Design and implement SAP CO processes aligned with business and financial requirements.
• Configure controlling areas, cost centers, activity types, cost elements, allocation cycles, assessment cycles, and distribution cycles.
• Support product costing, standard costing, variance analysis, WIP calculation, and settlement processes.
• Configure and support profitability analysis, including account-based CO-PA in SAP S/4HANA.
• Integrate SAP CO with FI, MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Support data migration activities related to SAP CO master and transactional data.
• Develop training materials and provide knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, controlling, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation, system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure SAP CO solutions comply with internal controls, financial policies, and business standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP CO functional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CO configuration and implementation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
• Strong knowledge of CCA, Internal Orders, PCA, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• Experience with SAP integration across FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
• Experience with SAP implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and production support projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional design, testing, and issue resolution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and integration between FI and CO in S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to Finance and Controlling.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery practices.
• SAP CO certification is preferred.
• Experience working in large-scale global SAP environments is a plus.
